● Unlike other fine pixel pitch LED Displays, P2.5 has protection mask for SMDs. As is known, for such UHD displays, free space from SMD pixel to panel edge is quite tiny, during constant installation. The plastic mask offers protection at 4 sides and front side, thus much more robust.
P2.5 is strongly recommended for event use, as for event, it needs frequent installation and dismantle.
With black mask and 1515 black SMD, compared with normal P2.5mm with 2020 SMD and no mask, the contrast is highly improved. From below picture, it shows the difference between modules with and without black plastic masks.
