Generally, there are 4 important factors that you need to take into consideration before taking purchase decisions.
1. Viewing Distance
As per below table, for indoor LED video wall, the viewing distance is always small; nowadays, due to the considerable reduce of production and material cost, pixel pitch less than 4mm are getting more and more popular; to Matrix Displays, available pixel pitches are from 1.25mm to 10mm.
For outdoor, viewing distance is usually over 10 meters, Matrix Displays offers pixel pitch from outdoor Pitch 2.5mm to 10mm, and mesh curtain LED video wall from 8mm to 33mm, and media facade from 37.5mm to 150mm etc.
2. Desired Resolution
Of the same display area, the higher resolution, the higher cost. Due to fast development of LED industry, 2K/4k high HD LED video wall, is getting more and more frequently demanded.
Taking indoor pixel pitch 1.25mm for example, size 3840mm*2700mm, is able to reach 3840*2160P 4K resolution, and for outdoor billboards, due to the long viewing distance, resolution 1024*768P would have a good visual impact; a screen of pitch 5mm, at size 5120mm*3840mm is able to reach this resolution.

3. Serviceability
In most commercial installations, space is at a premium because of the cost per square meter. Setting up an LED video wall that requires access from the rear to get at the electronics and connectors requires the video wall to be bumped out a foot or two from a structural wall, so technicians can do the initial installation and servicing. That space is no longer usable for anything else.
According to different application, there is choices of front and rear service. To save installation space, for direct wall mounting LED video walls, front service is required; with this design, in case of maintenance, labor cost will be saved considerably in comparison of rear service. Matrix Displays always aims to upgrade the Technology of maintenance.

4. Regulatory Compliance
That interference can affect everything from cellphone networks to mission-critical operations like airport control tower communications.
In Europe, CE EMC /LVD compliance is required; and in North American market, UL / ETL required by customs. Globally, certificates from SGS and TUV are most widely acknowledged.
